Weekend tip: since January 2022 most of the UAE takes Saturday and Sunday off, and Friday is a short day for most schools. Sharjah moved to a Friday-to-Sunday weekend at the same time. Friday prayer has been held at 12:45 pm in mosques across the country since January 2026, so book Friday classes for the afternoon.
