Who our male Quran teachers are
Our male teaching faculty is made up of more than twenty qualified Huffaz, Qaris and Dars-e-Nizami scholars. Every one of them has completed a formal Islamic education, holds a recognised Ijazah or Shahadah, and has been assessed by our academic review board on both recitation and the ability to teach it before taking a single student.
They teach the full range of courses offered by the academy, from the first letters of Noorani Qaida through Nazra, Hifz and Tajweed, up to advanced Qirat, Tafseer and Fiqh. Classes are always one to one, so the lesson plan, the pace and the homework are built around a single student rather than a group.
Lessons are available in English, Urdu and Arabic, so students can learn in the language spoken at home. Our male teachers work with boys, men, new Muslims and whole families, and many parents choose them for teenage sons who benefit from a male mentor alongside the recitation itself.

Nobody teaches at Tibyan Quran Academy on the strength of recitation alone. These are the qualifications behind every brother on our teaching faculty.
Ijazah Holding Scholars
Every male teacher holds a formal Ijazah or Shahadah with a connected Sanad, verified before they are approved to teach.
Huffaz of the Quran
Most of our male teachers have memorised the complete Quran and continue their own daily revision alongside teaching.
Trained Qaris
Our Qaris are trained in Makharij, Sifaat and the rules of Tajweed, and several hold Ijazah in the seven and ten recitations.
Dars-e-Nizami Graduates
For Tafseer, Tarjuma and Ahkam e Sharee we assign Aalim and Mufti level scholars with a Shahadat-ul-Aalamiyah.

Are your male Quran teachers certified?
Yes. Every male teacher at Tibyan Quran Academy holds a formal Ijazah, Sanad-ul-Hifz or Shahadat-ul-Aalamiyah, and is assessed by our academic review board on both recitation and teaching ability before being assigned a student.
Can I request a specific male teacher?
You can. Tell us the teacher you have in mind when you book, and if their schedule allows we will assign them. If they are fully booked we will suggest another teacher with the same qualifications for your course.
Which courses do the male teachers teach?
All nine of our courses: Nazra Quran, Hifz e Quran, Tajweed e Quran, Qirat e Quran, Tarjuma e Quran, Tafseer e Quran, Diniyat, Ahkam e Sharee and Islamic Stories. Advanced courses such as Tafseer and Ahkam e Sharee are taught by our Aalim and Mufti level scholars.
Can a male teacher teach my daughter?
For girls and sisters we normally recommend one of our female teachers, and most families prefer that. If a family specifically asks for a male teacher for a young child, classes are arranged with a parent present.
What languages do your male teachers speak?
