Summer time tip: Egypt brought back daylight saving time in 2023. Clocks go forward one hour at the start of the last Friday of April and back one hour at the end of the last Thursday of October. Saudi Arabia and the UAE do not change their clocks, so in summer Cairo shares Riyadh time, and in winter it is one hour behind Riyadh and two hours behind Dubai. If you split your year between Egypt and the Gulf, confirm your class time after each change. Short classes at a fixed time work best, as we explain in why weekly consistency matters.
